About the GLU

The Global Labour University (GLU) offers high-quality education programs for trade unionists and other activists focusing on labour policies responding to the challenges of globalization.

It operates as a network of trade unions, universities and the ILO to deliver international masterĀ“s programmes, leadership training, and massive open online courses (MOOCs) on topics such as workers' rights, social justice, economics, and global governance.

Alumni Database

Since the foundation of the GLU in 2004, around 800 unionists and labour experts graduated with a master's degree from the seven partner universities. These alumni are a vital part of the GLU, as they spearhead the project of building international solidarity in the world of work and they join various initiatives and events.

The organisation aims to cultivate strong relationships with all of them and to that end, it maintains an online database with relevant information. We invite you, our alumni, to take full ownership of this website and submit and update your data regularly.
